It was a pleasure to begin the New Year swearing in my friend Sylvia Cabana, the first Latin woman to become Hempstead Town Clerk!
I am extremely proud of Sylvia! It’s so important that young girls of color see women who look like them achieve greatness and make a difference in their communities. To have an opportunity to witness women continue to break barriers is exciting and inspiring! #Girlpower
